Planning for your stay in San Diego

San Diego has lots to do and see and no wonder, San Diego covers 372 square miles and is the eighth largest city in the US. To get the most out of your stay in San Diego consider these tips on San Diego hotels and Restaurants.

Many of the popular San Diego hotels are located in the Downtown area. If you decide to book a hotel, call the San Diego hotels direct for many are now offering special deals due to the holidays coming up. The Hard Rock Hotel currently has a promotion where you can stay on select dates for $129 per night plus you get a hotel credit of $50 per night (inquire through their website or direct for details). There is also an area in San Diego centrally located in Mission Valley called Hotel Circle. Many tourists stay here because of the proximity of all the attractions. For these hotels, I would consider doing some heavy research for many of these properties are in serious need of renovating.
Alberts Restaurant Alt Tag- San Diego Zoo Albert's Restaurant

While in San Diego, don’t forget to eat at one of the many fine San Diego restaurants located throughout the city. The most popular ones are located in the Gaslamp and near the harbor. I would use Yelp or get recommendations because many of the restaurants are hit and miss. San Diego has a wonderful choice of dining options however; I have found the most unique dining experience at the San Diego Zoo. Alberts is the only fine dining San Diego Restaurant that is situated in a Tree House. Listed in USA Today’s 2004 “Places to dine amid outdoor beauty.” And it is breathtaking. I would put this on my list of the dos while in San Diego. Enjoy the private waterfall view while dining on world-class cuisine. Alberts is located near the Gorilla exhibit. Another plus on dining at the San Diego Zoo, you have a whole park to explore.

Hope these tips help and enjoy your stay in Sunny San Diego.
